Caitlin Blasdell has been a literary agent with Liza Dawson Associates since 2002.

Charles Stross was Caitlin's first science fiction sale. Stross has since earned four Hugo nominations, ten hardcover deals, and sales into twelve languages.

Caitlin’s recent sales include:

• Sarah Prineas’ young-adult fantasy trilogy THE MAGIC THIEF (HarperCollins), which enjoyed eight foreign-language sales.
• Rachel Neumeier’s first novel A CITY IN THE LAKE (Knopf Books for Young Readers).
• Janine Cross’ debut fantasy Dragon Temple Saga trilogy (Roc), recently acquired also by Random House Germany.
• Sharon Estroff’s Jewish parenting book, CAN I HAVE A CELLPHONE FOR HANUKKAH? (Broadway).
• Jack Hart’s nonfiction guide, A WRITER'S COACH (Pantheon).

As a former senior editor at Harper and Avon, Caitlin acquired and published New York Times best-selling authors such as Kyle Mills, Anne McCaffrey, Kevin J. Anderson, and William Shatner. While at HarperEntertainment, Caitlin established the X-Files Publishing Program, as well as several other branded series.

Caitlin is a Williams College graduate. She lives in Westchester with her husband and three sons, ages 7, 4, and 1, which leads her to suspect she will be agenting more books on sports in the future.
