
Liza established Liza Dawson Associates following a successful 20-year career in book publishing, including posts as executive editor of Putnam Publishing and executive editor at William Morrow. She received her B.A. in history from Duke University and is a graduate of the Radcliffe Publishing Procedures course.

- Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows. Their book THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL SOCIETY (Dial) is a New York Times bestseller; the #1 Indiebound Selection, and the #1 bestseller on the San Francisco Chronicle list.
- Dr. Bob Brier, celebrated Egyptologist and author of THE SECRET OF THE GREAT PYRAMID: How One Man’s Obsession Led to the Solution of Egypt’s Greatest Mystery (Smithsonian Books/Collins). Brier’s special on the discovery aired on the National Geographic channel in November.
- Cody Mcfadyen, whose Smoky Barrett thrillers are bestsellers all over the world. His next novel (Bantam) will be published in October 2009.
- Robyn Carr, whose VIRGIN RIVER series (Mira) has transformed her into one of the hottest names in women’s fiction. Her recently published VIRGIN RIVER CHRISTMAS was a New York Times bestseller.
- Tawni O’Dell, the New York Times bestselling author of BACK ROADS. Her most recent novel, SISTER MINE (Crown/Shaye Arehart Books) was the # 1 Book Sense Pick and is now out in paperback.
- Richard Lavoie, whose THE MOTIVATION BREAKTHROUGH (Touchstone), appeared in paperback this September along with the companion DVD produced by PBS. Lavoie’s F.A.T. CITY videos have sold more than 200,000 copies for PBS.
- Jean Sasson, author of #1 New York Times bestseller PRINCESS: Life behind the Veil (Morrow). Her new book was recently sold to St. Martin’s.
- Michael Losier, whose LAW OF ATTRACTION (Grand Central Books) has sold over 400,000 copies to date in North America and been sold to over 30 countries. Losier hosts a show on Oprah’s radio network, and his new book will be published in June of ’09.
